Public Integrity

The North Wildwood Police Department strictly adheres to the Attorney General's Guideline for investigation of Complaints against a police officer. The Attorney General Internal Affairs Guidelines are available at  http://www.state.nj.us/lps/dcj/agguide/internalaffairs2000v1_2.pdf

To make a complaint about a police officer you should contact the Shift Sergeant as soon as possible.  Often by speaking to the shift sergeant the problem can be resolved immediately.    However if you feel uncomfortable with speaking to the shift sergeant  you  can contact the Office of the Chief of Police directly.
