The following crime prevention services are offered by the North Wildwood Police Department

(1) Home Security Checks - The North Wildwood Police Detective Bureau conducts home security checks of your property at no charge.  You simply have to contact the Detective Sergeant to schedule the check.  You can contact Detective Sergeant Stevenson at 609-522-2030 ext. 1600

(2) Neighborhood Crime Watch Program - The Crime Watch Program meets the Second Tuesday of the month at 7:30PM at the North Wildwood Community Center at 9th and Central Avenues, North Wildwood.    The informative meeting starts off with an approximately 30-45 minute presentation on a topic of community interest.  Speakers cover topics such as Victim/Witness, Consumer Affairs, Beach Patrol, Electric Company, Crime Prevention.   The speakers often bring displays and handouts for the attendees.   Then we serve some light refreshments followed by our crime update.  The Crime Update is a review of the criminal incidents since the last crime watch meeting.  This interesting portion of the meeting is presented by a member of the Detective Bureau.
